The Case for Sun-Grown Cannabis

What does sun-grown cannabis offer that indoor cultivation can't fully replicate?

Zennetix's Dr. Anna Schwabe recently contributed her perspective as a cannabis geneticist and plant scientist to a Forbes article exploring the case for sun-grown cannabis.

The conversation goes beyond simply indoor versus outdoor. Growing environment can influence how a plant expresses its genetics, while factors such as natural light, temperature variation, wind, soil biology, and other environmental inputs create conditions that are difficult to reproduce exactly indoors.

At the same time, genetics remain a major driver of the plant's potential. Understanding the relationship between genetics and environment is part of understanding why the same cultivar may not perform or express itself identically everywhere it is grown.
