Challenge of Septoria in Cultivation

Septoria cannabis represents a relatively understudied species within the broader Septoria genus, with gene sequence information becoming available only recently in scientific literature. While Septoria species are well-known pathogens in other agricultural crops (particularly tomatoes), the cannabis-specific variant presents unique challenges to growers.

One significant concern is misdiagnosis. Septoria infection symptoms can easily be confused with nutrient deficiencies or other plant health issues.
